But the heart can lead you astray! It’s wasn’t a very good movie, i’m sorry to say.

  2. aaron says:

yeah, my heart does that. agreed it was no T2… liquid metal anyone? maybe it wasn’t yet invented in 2018.

  3. aaron says:

    T4 salvation
    if aalap doesn’t like it
    then i must agree

  4. aaron says:

    i liked how in the
movie they played “you could be
    mine” by GNR

I haven’t seen it yet, but from what I understand, Woody Allen is not in this installation of the Terminator movies. He did, however, write and direct Match Point, which I saw in the theatre when it came out, and also watched again last night. Since I own my own, store-bought, personal copy, I can watch it every day if I choose to. I highly recommend watching Velvet Goldmine first, then following up with Match Point. The Jonathan Rhys-Meyers thing is cool.

Also, since we’re on the subject, I also recommend these movies back-to-back:
The Talented Mr. Ripley and Match Point
American Psycho and Match Point (which basically have almost the exact same endings!– “I got away with it, therefore I’ve lost all hope in any sort of justice. If I’d gotten caught, at least I’d be able to salvage the idea that there’s a shred of justice in the world. But there’s not.”
Metal: A Headbanger’s Journey and Velvet Goldmine. They both are about music. I like music.

when i first read this comment, i was under the impression for some reason that match point was that tennis rom-com, starring Silas. i was confused.

woody allen does make a cameo in terminator salvation, actually. it’s easy to miss it.

american psycho was kind of a bugout for me.

I think it would be cool to see one of your comix that has this punchline: “I like music.”

the more i think about it the more worse i feel worse about it.
    ok

    yeah.

    t4 wasn’t really good.

    :(

on a more positive mindless hollywood fanboy note, i just saw star trek last weekend. i was pleasantly surprised by that movie. everyone was all WHOA ITS AWESOME and thus, i expected it to be good, and it was. also interesting that young kyle reese is all takin it over playin all the russian and whatnot. i read a funny review about it… saying that dude who played him was good and somewhat dead-on because it can be facilitated by a bit of talking with your teeth closed a lot.
